More black and white shots
After it stopped raining this evening, I walked down to the lake to see if I could find anything interesting. Here are a few of the shots I took in black and white.
This chicory bloom is awesome! I can't really describe how it looked. It was like it was swollen and full of water and transparent, all at the same time. If you can blow it up, it has some amazing details.
I tweaked this one just a little bit to increase the contrast. This is a bloom on a mullen plant. It came up by itself along the road by the lake. It has small pale yellow blooms.
I could not find the large caterpillar all day today. The little guy is getting pretty good size! If you look closely, you can see drops of rain on his body.
I worked on my T-shirt quilt for a couple of hours today. I'm kind of winging it rather than planning it, so we will see how it turns out!
I got some of my cleaning done today, but I've got more to do tomorrow. The girls will be here about 3:00 pm, so you may not hear from me again for several days. I doubt if blogging will come very high on their list of things to do! I didn't get to the store today either, so I still have that to do tomorrow, too.
Bed time now. Later!
